Three Dollar Bill
On my way to the LGBT Community Center Thursday, I saw this poster for tonite's party.
At the Center's Three Dollar Bill Cafe, Michelle Tea was putting on another in her Radar reading series.
Featured reader Daniel Handler (ZYZZYVA Spring '06) was being interviewed.
And Marcus Ewert was getting ready for the Sept. publication of his book 10,000 Dresses: "Every night, Bailey dreams of wearing dresses; dresses made of crystals, of flowers, of windows. Unfortunately, no one wants to hear about these beautiful dreams until he meets Laurel...."
On my way home, I was thinking about what it would be fun to do on that upcoming lucky day 8/8/08, when I passed the Chinese Consulate.
