Atlantic Monthly

Ad pages for July's Atlantic declined 11% to 58. (Vanity Fair was down 49% to 54!)

A century ago, actually December 1910, The Atlantic Monthly had 208 pages of ads, plus the inside covers and the back cover—and (only) 132 pages of editorial.

In those days, book publishers could support a magazine with ads—Scribner's and Harper's actually had their own magazines.

Also please note the nice roster of writers.
