ZYZZYVA was founded in San Francisco in 1985. It is published on paper three times a year; the current issue, Fall, is the 83rd. The editor, Howard Junker, was born in Port Washington, NY, a town on Long Island that Fitzgerald called East Egg in The Great Gatsby. Junker lives in San Francisco with his wife and their daughter, a senior in college in Washington, D.C. How does Yellowblister sound better than Zyzzyva in any way, shape, or form?
Hmmm.....I am skeptical of the decision.
By the way, Blogger.com is making me type "gyceckxy" to verify this post. If anything, the band should have been named that!
